The successful candidate will provide essential support to pupils with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD), fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment. Responsibilities: • Assist in the delivery of personalized education plans for students with ASD. • Support pupils in developing their communication, social, and life skills. • Employ a range of strategies to promote positive behaviour and engagement. • Facilitate small group activities and one-on-one support to enhance learning outcomes. • Collaborate with the classroom teacher to monitor and report on students' progress. • Adapt resources to meet the individual needs of pupils. • Provide a safe and nurturing classroom environment for all students. • Participate in professional development opportunities related to ASD support. Requirements: • Experience working with children, particularly those with ASD. • A compassionate approach and a strong commitment to inclusive education. • Ability to work collaboratively with teaching staff and other professionals. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Supporting Teaching and Learning, or a related field, is desirable.
