1:1 Teaching Assistant – PMLD Location: OL11 Company: Axcis Education Axcis Education is seeking a dedicated and compassionate 1:1 Teaching Assistant to support a child with Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD) in a school setting in Rochdale. You will be providing consistent 1:1 support to a pupil with complex needs, requiring a high level of care, attention, and understanding. The role focuses on supporting the child’s learning, communication, physical needs, and emotional wellbeing throughout the school day. The pupil may have limited verbal communication, physical disabilities, sensory needs, and medical or care requirements. You will support engagement through sensory-based activities, assist with mobility and positioning, and help implement personalised learning and care plans. This role will involve personal care, including toileting and feeding where required, always maintaining dignity and respect.
