Key Responsibilities: - Provide one-to-one support to a child with global delay, fostering a nurturing and inclusive environment for their educational growth. - Collaborate with the class teacher, SENCO, and other professionals to implement individualized learning plans and strategies. - Support the student's cognitive, physical, and social-emotional development, adapting teaching methods to their unique needs. - Assist with daily activities, including personal care, mobility, and communication support. - Foster positive relationships with the student, their families, and school staff, ensuring effective communication and collaboration. Requirements: - Experience working with children with global delay or special educational needs is highly desirable. - A patient and empathetic approach, with the ability to create a safe and supportive environment for the student. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with the student, their families, and the wider school community. - Knowledge of individualised teaching strategies and interventions to support cognitive, physical, and social-emotional development. - Relevant qualifications or training in special education or SEN support would be advantageous.
