Job Title: Youth worker
Axcis Education are seeking dedicated and passionate youth workers with experience in working with children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of students who require additional support and guidance to reach their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide one-on-one and group support to students with SEND in both academic and personal development.
• Assist in the creation and implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with the school's SEND team.
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students, promoting their social and emotional well-being.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure the best outcomes for students with SEND.
• Engage in continuous professional development to stay updated on best practices in SEND education.
Qualifications:
• Previous experience working with students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities is essential.
• Youth work experience
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• A genuine commitment to making a difference in the lives of young people.

This role is Monday to Friday, 8.45-15:45, Pay is from £89 per day to start as soon as possible, on a long-term basis.
