Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 4:00pm
Commitment: Full-Time, Long-Term Role
Pay Rate: £95 per day

Axcis are currently seeking an experienced and dedicated Youth Worker to join our team at a secondary school in Hillingdon as a ex youth worker to support children in a secondary school. This full-time position offers the opportunity to work with young people who exhibit very challenging behaviour in a small class setting, teaching up to GCSE level. The ideal candidate will be passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of young people and helping them achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
-Work directly with young people with very challenging behaviour in a supportive environment.
-Teach up to GCSE level in a small class setting.
-Develop and deliver engaging activities and interventions that promote both personal and academic growth.
-Support young people to develop essential life skills, independence, and resilience.
-Collaborate closely with families and other professionals to provide holistic, individualised support.
Requirements:
-Relevant experience working with young people who display challenging behaviour.
-Experience teaching up to GCSE level.
-Strong understanding of the needs and behaviours of young people with emotional and behavioural difficulties.
-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
-Knowledge of behaviour management strategies and interventions.
-Enhanced DBS on the update service.
Desirable:
-A relevant qualification in teaching, childcare, or youth work.
-Training in Behaviour Management and/or Safeguarding.
-Familiarity with the National Curriculum.
