Job Title: Teaching Assistants
Axcis Education are currently seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistants to support students across a variety of schools in the Plymouth area. We have a range of roles available, from full-time to part-time, with positions in mainstream and special education settings. As a Teaching Assistant, you will be responsible for: • Providing 1:1 support to students with special educational needs (SEN) or additional learning needs. • Assisting with classroom management, ensuring a positive and engaging learning environment. • Supporting students in their academic and personal development. • Working closely with teachers to deliver lesson plans and adapt learning activities. • Assisting with personal care (where necessary). • Supporting pupils with a range of needs, including Autism, ADHD, SEMH, learning difficulties, and more. The ideal candidate will have: • Experience working with children or young people, preferably in a learning support role. • A passion for supporting children with additional needs and a commitment to making a positive impact. • Strong communication and teamwork skills. • Patience, empathy, and a proactive attitude. • A DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one).
