Job Advertisement: Teaching Assistants for SEND Support (Full-Time, Long-Term) Position: Teaching Assistant (SEND Support) Location: Liverpool Start Date: September 2024 Contract: Full-Time, Long-Term Axcis are seeking passionate and dedicated Teaching Assistants to join a primary school in September 2024. The successful candidates will play a crucial role in supporting students with SEND, helping them to achieve their full potential and thrive within the school community. Key Responsibilities: • Provide individualised support to students with SEND, both inside and outside the classroom. • Assist in the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and support strategies. • Work closely with teachers to adapt learning materials and activities to meet the needs of students with SEND. • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment. • Monitor and track student progress, providing regular feedback to teachers and the SENDCo. • Support students with personal care needs, if required. • Promote social integration and positive behaviour among students.
