Job Title: Teaching Assistant
Job Role: Learning Support Assistant LSA TA SEND/ SEN This role is full-time, starting ASAP A wonderful primary mainstream school are looking for a confident, proactive Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to support their SEN students in and around the school. You will be liaising with lots of teachers, working with them on how best to support the young people you are working with. The successful candidate for this role will: -be creative and open to new ideas ^ spontaneous changes -be empathetic and aware of the student''s mood changes, adapting the day accordingly when needed -have experience working with someone Autistic -have strong communication skills and able to build relationships with lots of members of staff in order to support the student -ideally be passionate about English (notably stories and reading) This role is full-time, Monday to Friday during term time. The ideal hours are 8.30 to 3.30, although there is some flexibility to this depending on your schedule. Pay starts at £14.25 per hour. Please note that for this role, you will need to be aware of, and adhere to, the Safeguarding and Behaviour Policies of the school. You must also have an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or be willing to get one.
