This long-term Teaching Assistant position is a fantastic opportunity to work with students aged 11–16 who require additional support with their learning, communication, behaviour and emotional wellbeing. As a Teaching Assistant, you will provide targeted support that enables students with SEND and SEMH needs to remain engaged in lessons, build positive relationships and develop the confidence to achieve both academically and personally. No two days are the same in this rewarding Teaching Assistant role. You could be supporting a student during English in the morning, leading a small intervention group after break, or helping a young person develop strategies to manage their emotions and return successfully to learning.
