Job Title: Teaching Assistant
Full-Time Teaching Assistant – All-Through School (Primary & Secondary) Brent, North West London £93 – £110 per day (dependent on experience) Flexible Start Dates Available A leading education recruitment agency is currently seeking an experienced and adaptable Teaching Assistant to work full-time in a large, well-established all-through school in Brent. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a school that supports pupils from early years through to sixth form, offering a unique and rewarding environment where staff collaborate across phases to support student progress and development. The Role You will be supporting students across either primary, secondary, or both phases depending on your experience. The role will involve working closely with class teachers and SEN staff to support learning, behaviour and emotional development. Key responsibilities include: • Supporting students in class on a 1:1 and small group basis • Assisting pupils with SEND, including ASD and speech and language needs • Managing and supporting challenging behaviour • Helping to create a positive, structured learning environment • Supporting students’ academic and social development The Ideal Candidate We are looking for candidates who have: • Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant in both primary and/or secondary settings • Strong experience supporting SEND students • Proven ability to manage challenging behaviour confidently • A calm, resilient and proactive approach • Excellent communication and teamwork skills Experience across both key phases is highly desirable due to the all-through nature of the school.
