Job Title: Teaching Assistant
Looking for meaningful work where you can make a real difference every day? We’re recruiting a Teaching Assistant to support Post-16 students with autism and learning disabilities in a specialist provision based in Bath city centre. This is a full-time role (8:30am–3:30pm, 4 days per week), starting ASAP, paying £14.25 per hour, with the opportunity to become permanent after a 16-week settling-in period. You’ll be working within a well-established further education setting known locally for its inclusive approach, strong student support, and modern learning facilities. Its most recent Ofsted report highlights a supportive and respectful environment, where staff build positive relationships with learners and help them develop independence, confidence, and life skills. What you’ll be doing: • Supporting students in small groups and 1:1 • Encouraging independence, communication and social development • Assisting with classroom activities and practical learning • Helping create a safe, calm and engaging environment Who this role would suit: You don’t need extensive experience. What matters most is your attitude and values.
