Job Title: Teaching Assistant
Location: Manchester
Hours: Full-time / Day-to-Day / Temporary
Salary: £89 - £100 per day
We are recruiting a dedicated Primary Teaching Assistant (TA) to support classroom teachers in KS1 and KS2. As a Primary TA, you will assist pupils with their learning, provide 1:1 and small group support, and contribute to classroom organisation and activities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support teaching and learning in the classroom
• Assist pupils with literacy, numeracy, and other core skills
• Support pupils with SEND or additional needs
• Prepare resources and contribute to lesson planning
• Monitor pupil progress and provide feedback to teachers
• Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment
Requirements:
• Experience working in primary education or childcare
• Understanding of SEND, ADHD, or SEMH support strategies
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Patience, flexibility, and adaptability
