About the Role
Our warm, vibrant primary school in the heart of M13 is looking for an enthusiastic and skilled Teaching Assistant (Level 3) to join our supportive team. If you love helping children learn, grow, and shine, and you don’t mind the occasional burst of glitter or a corridor filled with creative chaos, you might be exactly who we’re looking for!
As a TA3, you’ll take on a more independent and proactive support role, working closely with class teachers to deliver engaging learning experiences and sometimes leading small groups or interventions.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide high-quality classroom support across a range of subjects
• Lead small-group learning sessions and targeted interventions
• Support pupils with varying needs, ensuring every child feels valued and included
• Assist in planning and preparing learning activities
• Foster a positive, nurturing, and stimulating environment
• Build strong relationships with pupils, staff, and families
• Contribute to the wider school community (and occasionally help wrangle props for school assemblies!)
About You
• Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)
• Experience working in a primary school setting
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• A patient, caring, and enthusiastic attitude
• Ability to use your initiative and support learning with confidence
• A sprinkle of creativity and a genuine passion for helping children thrive
Why Join Us?
• A friendly, welcoming staff team
• Opportunities for professional development
• A diverse and energetic student community
• A school environment where curiosity, kindness, and joy are part of the daily routine
