Are you a dedicated and enthusiastic teaching assistant looking to support young people in further education? Axcis Education is seeking a committed teaching assistant to work within a college environment, supporting learners with a range of needs.

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide learning support to students within the classroom and during independent study sessions
• Work closely with teaching staff to deliver tailored support
• Assist learners with Special Educational Needs (SEN), ensuring their individual needs are met
• Promote an inclusive, positive and safe learning environment
• Support students with communication, social, emotional and academic development
Essential Requirements:
• Previous experience working as a teaching assistant or in a similar educational support role
• Experience working with SEN children or young people is essential
• Enhanced child and adult DBS or enhanced child DBS registered on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one through Axcis Education
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• A patient, proactive and compassionate approach
