SEND Teaching Assistant – Primary School (Special Provision & Mainstream) Location: West Drayton, Greater London Start Date: September 2025 Contract Type: Full-Time, Long-Term Working Hours: Monday to Friday | 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM About the Role Axcis Education is delighted to be working with a warm and inclusive primary school in West Drayton, seeking committed and enthusiastic SEND Teaching Assistants for September 2025. This is a full-time, long-term opportunity, with the expectation to commit for the full academic year. The school has two exciting vacancies available: Specialist Resource Provision (SRP) – Working in a dedicated class of around 9 pupils (Years Reception- Year 1) with ASD and ADHd needs, supported by 4 TAs and 1 Teacher. Mainstream Support – Providing 1:1 and small group interventions for pupils with additional needs across the school. Specialist Resource Provision – Key Details The SRP supports children with Autism, ADHD, and SEMH who may display challenging behaviour. The role involves: -Ensuring the safety and well-being of pupils at all times -Supporting pupils with communication, emotional regulation, and engagement -Assisting in structured sessions such as Bucket Time, sensory play, and early communication interventions -Using a calm, resilient approach to manage behaviour -Providing personal care when required -Being hands-on, proactive, and able to work collaboratively with the team Mainstream Support – Key Details -The school also has a vacancy for a SEND TA to support pupils 1:1 or in small groups within the mainstream setting.
