Teaching Assistant – SEN Primary & Secondary School | L32
Full-Time or Part-Time

A welcoming and inclusive SEN school in the L32 area is seeking an enthusiastic and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join their dedicated team. This is a unique opportunity to support pupils across both primary and secondary age groups, each with diverse and complex needs including Autism, ADHD, SEMH, PMLD, and SLD.
Whether you’re experienced in education, care, or support work — or bringing personal experience and passion to the role — your contribution will help children build confidence, achieve milestones, and thrive both personally and academically.
The Role:
Location: L32 (easily accessible via public transport)
Contract: Full-time or part-time roles available
Key Responsibilities:
Provide individual and small group support, helping children develop independence and self-esteem
Assist with delivering lessons in core subjects, life skills, and creative activities
Support pupils with personal care, sensory needs, or emotional regulation when required
Help maintain a safe, calm, and engaging learning environment
Build strong, trusting relationships with students, celebrating progress and supporting personal development
Work closely with teachers and therapists to ensure consistent and holistic support
