Teaching Assistant – 1:1 Autism Support (Primary School) Location: Southall, West London (Excellent Rail Links) Start Date: September 2025 Working Hours: Monday to Friday | 8:30 AM – 4:00 PM Day Rate: Competitive (Dependent on Experience) Contract Type: Full-Time | Long-Term About the Role Axcis Education is excited to be working in partnership with a thriving mainstream primary school in Southall, West London, to recruit a compassionate and skilled Teaching Assistant. This long-term, full-time position will begin in September 2025 and is specifically designed to support a child in Key Stage 1 with ASD. The pupil you will be supporting is an inquisitive and bright young learner who responds well to a structured, consistent environment. Although highly capable, they require additional support with emotional regulation and behaviour, particularly during transitions or when faced with unexpected changes. The school is seeking someone who can build a strong, trusting relationship with the child and foster a sense of safety, confidence, and routine within the school day.
