About the Role
Axcis Education is recruiting for an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join a highly regarded mainstream primary school in Ealing, just a short walk from Greenford station. This full-time role begins in September and requires a year-long commitment.
The school is seeking a patient and skilled TA to provide dedicated 1:1 support for a Year 2 pupil with ADHD and Autism. The successful candidate will work within the classroom environment, supporting the pupil’s academic, emotional, and behavioural development.
Key Responsibilities
-Provide 1:1 support for a Year 2 student with ADHD and Autism
-Assist with behaviour management and emotional regulation
-Foster a safe and inclusive learning environment
-Collaborate with the class teacher and wider staff team
-Promote engagement and learning through consistent, structured support
What We’re Looking For
-Previous SEN experience in a mainstream school setting
-Specific experience supporting children with ADHD, Autism, and SEMH needs
-Strong behaviour management skills and the ability to set clear boundaries
-Proactive, patient, and compassionate nature
-Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
-Willingness to work full-time, Monday to Friday (8:30 AM – 4:00 PM)
Requirements
-Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (UPS)
-Experience supporting neurodiverse children in education
-SEMH experience is highly desirable
