Full-Time SEND Teaching Assistant – Primary (Poole) | September Start | Temp to Perm Salary: £90-£100 per day Are you passionate about supporting children with additional needs? Do you have experience in a SEND setting or a background in psychology and are ready to make a meaningful impact in a child’s education? A dedicated and nurturing SEND primary school in Poole is currently seeking a full-time Teaching Assistant to join their supportive team from September. This is a temp-to-perm opportunity, offering long-term development and progression for the right candidate. About the School: Our school is a specialist setting for children aged 4–11 with a range of additional needs, including SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health), ASC (Autism Spectrum Condition), and ADHD. The school provides a structured, safe, and stimulating environment where every child is supported to achieve their full potential. With small class sizes, tailored interventions, and a strong staff team, this is a school where both pupils and staff thrive. The Role: As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you’ll play a key role in supporting the social, emotional, and educational development of pupils, working either 1:1 or in small groups. You'll help to implement individual learning plans, regulate behaviour, and provide consistency and reassurance throughout the school day. This is a challenging but incredibly rewarding role, ideal for someone who wants to build strong relationships, offer meaningful support, and grow within a specialist education setting.
