Teaching Assistant – Special Needs (Autism Support)
Location: Ealing, Greenford

Hours: Full-Time | Monday – Friday | 8:45 AM – 3:45 PM
About the Role
Axcis Education is seeking a compassionate and experienced Teaching Assistant to join a dedicated Primary Special Needs School in Ealing, Greenford. This is a full-time opportunity to support children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Asperger’s Syndrome, making a real difference in their educational journey.
You will work closely with teachers and specialists to implement individualised learning plans, using communication tools such as PECS and Makaton, while creating a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment.
Key Responsibilities
-Provide tailored 1:1 and group support for pupils with Autism or Asperger’s
-Use PECS and Makaton to enhance communication and engagement
-Assist pupils with personal care when required
-Help implement and adapt individual learning strategies
-Foster a supportive, structured, and positive learning atmosphere
Requirements
-Experience working with children with Autism or strong EYFS background
-Knowledge and application of PECS and Makaton
-Willingness and ability to provide personal care
-A kind, patient, and empathetic approach
-Full-time availability, Monday to Friday
