Job Title: Teaching Assistant
We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistants to join our vibrant special needs primary school in Brent. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of students in Key Stage 1 and 2, supporting children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and other complex needs. The role is available to start immediately, and you will work Monday to Friday, from 8:20 AM to 3:30 PM, following the school’s term schedule. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in fostering a supportive and nurturing learning environment, helping students to reach their full potential. Your responsibilities will include assisting with educational activities, providing one-on-one support, and working closely with teachers to tailor learning strategies to meet individual needs. Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with children with special needs are essential qualities for this role. Candidates must have prior experience working in schools or with children and vulnerable adults who have special needs. We are looking for proactive individuals with a strong understanding of the challenges faced by students with ASD and complex needs.
