Teaching Assistant Greenford, Ealing Monday-Friday 0845am-03:45pm Trial: ASAP Period: Long Term Axcis are seeking an experienced teaching assistant to work in a SEND Primary School in Greenford. The SEN School works to an altered primary curriculum, and each classroom has up to 8 students, 3 TA's and 1 Teacher. The children you will be supporting have various needs, such as highly and non verbal ASD, so the use of PECS and Makaton to communicate are essential. The successful candidate will need to support the children in their everyday leaning progress, in line with their ECHP's. The ideal candidate must have the ability to keep the children engaged, use their initiative, and show a lot of enthusiasm towards the children and the role. The school offers great facilities, including a swimming pool, sensory rooms, great outdoor space with play area, and a trampoline room. Each day will be structured with pictures as a timetable in the classroom. For this position, you must be comfortable with personal care, experience working with children in a SEN setting, and have an enhance DBS on the update service.
