Job Title: Teaching Assistant, primary
Axcis Education are looking to recruit a teaching assistant, for a primary school, based in the Chorley area who are seeking a long term member of staff, to join their growing team. The school is based centrally in the Chorley area. The school is roughly a 10 minute walk from the bus station and train station and it also has ample on site car parking. The school are looking for a long term, full-time teaching assistant, to join their team from September. The role will require you to work across both KS1 and KS2 and candidates must have some SEND experience to apply for this role as you will be expected to work with students who have additional needs also. The school is a small provision, which caters for students from the local area. The role, will start in September on a full-time basis and pay rates start at £96 per day. School hours are 830am - 330pm Monday - Friday and the role will require you to support a number of students who have additional learning needs including autism, ADHD, SEMH difficulties and MLD. The candidate should have some childcare experience as well as having SEND experience and the candidate must be available on a full time basis from September. The candidate should be a team player, empathetic, compassionate and confident.
