Job Title: Teaching Assistant - ASD/SEMH
Teaching Assistant – 1:1 Support (ASD / SEMH) Location: Harrow | Full-Time | Start Date: September | Daily Rate: £89+ (Dependent on Experience) A well-regarded all-through special needs school in Harrow is seeking a committed and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join their team in September. This full-time position involves providing tailored 1:1 support for students with Autism (ASD) and Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. You will work closely with pupils aged 5–16 who are learning at Key Stage 1 or 2 levels. Your role will be to support their learning and wellbeing, helping to implement structured routines and personalised strategies that promote engagement, confidence, and progress. We are looking for someone who is patient, empathetic, and proactive – someone who can build trust and consistency for children with additional needs. You’ll collaborate with teachers to deliver inclusive, supportive lessons and help create a calm, safe classroom environment.
