Teaching Assistant – Special Needs School (Hounslow) Location: Hounslow, West London Start Date: September 2025 (New Academic Year) Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM Salary: £89–£105 per day Are you passionate about supporting young people with special educational needs? We’re looking for a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join a highly regarded special needs school in Hounslow, working with students aged 4–16 in a structured and nurturing environment starting in September 2025. The Role As a Teaching Assistant, you will: – Provide targeted 1:1 or small group behaviour support to students with social, emotional, or behavioural needs – Support students in a dedicated learning space focused on emotional regulation and academic progress – Work collaboratively with experienced educators and support staff to maintain a safe and inclusive setting – Help students develop confidence, independence, and essential life skills What We’re Looking For – Previous experience in a SEND or care-based role – Team Teach certification (essential) to support effective behaviour management – A calm, patient, and empathetic approach to working with children with complex needs – A genuine commitment to helping students overcome barriers and reach their potential Why Join Us? – Be part of a supportive team in a school known for its inclusive and nurturing ethos – Access ongoing training and professional development – Play a meaningful role in changing young lives for the better Interested?
