Job Title: Support Worker - Special Needs School
Axcis Education is seeking a dedicated, compassionate Teaching Assistant to join a specialist school in South Bristol, supporting pupils with a wide range of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). This full-time, term-time only role offers an incredible opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children with additional needs.

About the Role
As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will:
• Support pupils with a variety of SEND, including Autism, learning difficulties, and complex needs
• Provide both 1:1 and small-group support to help pupils access the curriculum
• Assist with personal care and sensory needs where required
• Create a safe, engaging and nurturing learning environment
• Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists and wider school staff to deliver personalised support strategies

The Ideal Candidate
We welcome applications from individuals who are:
• Experienced in supporting children or young people with SEND (desirable but not essential)
• Patient, empathetic and proactive in their approach
• Willing to assist with personal care and support pupil wellbeing
• Confident team players with strong communication skills
• Committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all pupils
Pay Rate: £89- £95 per day (PAYE)
