Special needs teaching assistants Axcis Education require two special needs teaching assistants to take on full time work supporting at a primary school in Bath on a long term basis with the potential for it to go into the next academic year. The school have two students that have been newly brought in and the school currently don't have the staffing to support them both. Both are diagnosed on the autism spectrum and are said to be active and not great with sitting still for long. Working hours are 8:30-3:30 , Monday to Friday and term time only. The school are looking for two people that have experience supporting those with additional needs, and can confidently manage behaviours and keep them engaged in their learning and help them acclimate to a new school and new friends. The right people will need to be able to forge relationships with children quickly and have an empathetic yet firm approach.
