Job Title: SEND Teaching Assistant
SEND Teaching Assistant – Primary – Rainham
From £94/day PAYE | Primary | Rainham | Full-Time | Long-Term
Axcis are working closely with a mainstream primary school in Rainham with a dedicated SEN provision, who are seeking a SEND Teaching Assistant to support pupils with additional needs. The school is known for its inclusive ethos, strong SEND leadership and collaborative staff team. It is just a short walk from the station and offers parking on site.
In this role, you will be:
• Supporting pupils with autism, speech & language needs and general learning difficulties.
• Working 1:1 and in small groups to support learning and emotional regulation.
• Using visuals, structured routines and positive reinforcement strategies.
• Assisting with differentiated classroom activities and interventions.
• Working closely with the SENCO and class teacher to support EHCP targets.

• Experience supporting children with SEND (school-based preferred).
• A calm, patient and proactive approach.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• A genuine passion for inclusive education.
