Job Title: SEND Teaching Assistant
SEND Teaching Assistant – Primary – Rainham
From £89/day | Primary | Rainham | Immediate Start | Full-Time | Long-Term
Axcis are working with a welcoming mainstream primary school in Rainham that has a dedicated SEN provision, seeking a SEND Teaching Assistant to support pupils with autism and moderate learning difficulties. The school has a Good Ofsted rating, a strong community feel and a leadership team passionate about inclusion. Located just 5 minutes from Rainham Station with on-site parking, it’s ideal for staff from East London or Essex.
In this role, you will be:
• Supporting children with autism and MLD in small groups and 1:1 sessions.
• Assisting with communication, emotional regulation and social interaction.
• Helping to deliver tailored activities that match individual learning needs.
• Working closely with teachers and therapists to track progress.
What we’re looking for:
• Experience working with pupils with SEND (autism or MLD desirable).
• Caring, adaptable and enthusiastic approach.
• Team player with good communication skills.
