Job Title: SEND Teaching assistant
A welcoming school in SW15 is seeking a compassionate and dedicated 1:1 Teaching Assistant to support students aged 16–19 with autism. This full-time role starts in September 2025 and offers the chance to work in a nurturing, inclusive environment equipped with thoughtfully designed sensory spaces that support student wellbeing, focus, and development.
You’ll provide tailored, 1:1 support to a student with autism, working closely with the teaching and SEN teams to promote engagement, emotional regulation, and a positive learning experience.
Key Details:
• Location: SW15
• Hours: 08:30 AM – 4:30 PM, Monday to Friday (Term-time only)
• Pay: £13.69 per hour (Paid weekly)
• Start Date: September 2025
• Role: 1:1 support for a student with autism
Requirements:
• Experience supporting students with autism or other SEND (preferred)
• Enhanced Child & Adult DBS (or willingness to apply)
• Patient, empathetic, and proactive approach
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Must be available full-time (Monday to Friday)
