Job Title: SEND Teaching Assistant
Join Our Team: SEN Teaching Assistant Skelmersdale Do you have a passion for helping children with special educational needs flourish? We’re looking for a dedicated, empathetic, and proactive SEN Teaching Assistant to join our inclusive and supportive team in Skelmersdale. In this full time role, you’ll work closely with children aged 2 to 11 who have a range of complex needs, including autism. Your role will be central to supporting their academic progress, emotional well-being, and social development. Some students may also require personal care support, so a caring and respectful approach is essential. Your work will have a lasting impact helping each child overcome challenges and thrive in a nurturing environment. What We’re Looking For: • Experience supporting children or young people with SEN. • Flexibility to work across various age groups. • A DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply) • A kind, patient, and proactive nature • Willingness to support with personal care if required.
