SEND Teaching Assistant – Primary School | Camden NW5 | Full-Time from September
Axcis Education is working with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in NW5 (Camden) seeking a proactive and experienced SEND Teaching Assistant to join their SEN department full-time from September 1st.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work alongside a dedicated team, supporting pupils with a range of needs—primarily Autism (ASD), including some non-verbal students and those with challenging behaviour.

Role: SEND Teaching Assistant
Location: Camden, NW5
Start Date: September 1st
Contract: Full-time, Monday to Friday, term-time only
The Ideal Candidate Will:
Have experience supporting children with ASD and communication needs
Be confident managing challenging behaviour using positive behaviour strategies
Show initiative, flexibility, and resilience in the classroom
Be a great team player with a child-centred approach
You’ll be based within the school’s SEN department, working 1:1 and in small groups to help pupils access learning and feel supported throughout the day.
