Job Title: SEND Teaching assistant in Uxbridge
Care Worker – Secondary School (Hillingdon)

This role offers the opportunity to work closely with students who have Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), including Profound and Multiple Learning Disabilities (PMLD) and challenging behaviours. Whether you are looking for a full-time or part-time position, we welcome individuals who are passionate about creating a supportive and inclusive learning environment.

?? Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 4:00 PM

Key Responsibilities:
Provide individualised care and support to SEND students, helping them thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
Assist students with personal care needs as required.
Support students in managing challenging behaviours with patience and a constructive approach.
Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to implement personalised care plans.
Promote independence and confidence in students' daily activities.
Requirements:
?? A valid Enhanced DBS check registered on the Update Service.
?? The right to work in the UK.
?? Previous experience as a care assistant or in a similar role, ideally within an educational or SEND setting.
?? A caring, patient, and empathetic nature.
Ideal Candidate:
?? A genuine passion for working with children and young people with SEND.
?? Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
?? Resilience and the ability to remain calm in challenging situations.
?? A proactive attitude and commitment to helping students reach their full potential.
