Contract Type: Full-time
Salary: £89 – £105 per day / £445 – £525 per week
We are recruiting for a nurturing and proactive SEND Teaching Assistant to work 1:1 in Reception with a child showing signs of autism and high levels of emotional dysregulation.
The Role:
You will:
• Support a Reception pupil with suspected autism and communication needs
• Create structure using visual supports and sensory breaks
• Support the child through transitions and reduce anxiety triggers
• Work closely with EYFS staff and external agencies
About You:
• Experience with autism and early years settings
• Emotionally resilient with a calm and caring nature
• Familiar with sensory needs and play-based learning
• Team player who values inclusion
