A lovely primary school located in Enfield is seeking a passionate and experienced SEND Teacher to join their team. The school caters to students with a diverse range of needs, including Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH), Autistic Spectrum Condition (ASD), and Complex Needs. This position offers an exciting opportunity to become part of a large, reputable academy group that emphasizes professional development and values the contribution of its staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lesson plans tailored to the individual needs of students.
- Create a safe, positive, and stimulating classroom environment that fosters learning and promotes the emotional well-being of all students.
- Work closely with a dedicated Teaching Assistant to manage classroom activities and ensure each student receives the support they need.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification recognised in the UK.
- Demonstrable experience working with children with SEND, including SEMH, ASD, and Complex Needs.
- Excellent communication and collaborative skills to work effectively with staff, students, and parents.
