Job Title: Send Teacher
Axcis Education is currently recruiting for a passionate and experienced, qualified SEND Teacher to work at a specialist school in Swindon that supports students with SEMH and Challenging Behaviour. Based in Swindon on a large, purpose built site with residential facilities; the school currently has a roll of 50 pupils from the ages of 12 to 16. This role will be to teach a group of 7 to 8 pupils who all have SEMH and challenging behaviour, You will have an HLTA and and 6 to 7 Support Staff. With a good reputation across the South West and support from a dedicated group of Trustee's, this is a fantastic opportunity for a creative and determined SEND Practitioner. It's also essential that you have a caring approach to nurturing these pupils' development. This is a full-time, term-time only role starting in ASAP until the end of the Winter Term but could become a longer position for the right candidate. The hours are 8.30 to 4.00pm, Monday to Friday with a daily pay rate between £130 and £155 per day depending on experience.
