Job Title: SEND TA
A welcoming primary school in Clapham Junction (SW18) is seeking a caring and committed 1:1 Teaching Assistant to support a pupil with autism. Starting in September 2025, this is a full-time role ideal for someone passionate about inclusive education and supporting students with additional needs. The school offers a nurturing environment with well-designed sensory spaces that promote student focus, emotional regulation, and overall wellbeing. Key Details: • Location: Clapham Junction (SW18) • Hours: 08:30 AM – 4:30 PM, Monday to Friday (Term-time only) • Pay: £89-95 per day (PAYE – Paid weekly) • Start Date: September 2025 • Role: 1:1 support for a primary-aged pupil with autism Key Responsibilities: • Provide tailored 1:1 support for a pupil with autism • Collaborate closely with teachers and SEN staff • Support emotional regulation, sensory needs, and engagement • Help maintain a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment Requirements: • Experience supporting children with SEND, particularly autism • Patient, empathetic, and proactive approach • Strong communication and teamwork skills • Enhanced Child & Adult DBS (or willingness to obtain one) • Availability for full-time work (Monday to Friday) Why Join Us? • Supportive and inclusive school community • Ongoing training and professional development opportunities • A chance to make a real difference in a child’s learning journey If you're interested in this opportunity, please reply to this email with your CV.
