Teaching Assistant – SEND Secondary School – Barnes
Location: SEND Secondary School, Barnes
Working Hours: 8.45 am to 4.45 pm
Start Date: September 2025 (Immediate start also available)
Are you passionate about supporting students with special educational needs and ready to make a real difference in their educational journey? A well-regarded SEND secondary school in Barnes is seeking a committed and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join their team from September.
Key Responsibilities
Provide one-to-one and small group support to students
Assist teachers in planning and delivering differentiated learning activities
Contribute to creating a calm, inclusive, and encouraging classroom environment
Ideal Candidate
Experience as a Teaching Assistant, ideally within a SEND setting
A valid enhanced DBS certificate for working with children and adults
A patient, proactive, and positive attitude
Strong communication and teamwork skills
