Axcis Education is seeking adaptable, part-time teaching assistants for a dynamic special school in Newbury, to provide cover for absent members of staff. The school serves students aged 4-18 with diverse additional needs such as challenging behaviour, autism, ADHD, complex needs, SEMH and personal care needs. Candidates will be scheduled for shifts on a weekly basis. Preferred candidates will possess relevant experience, whether this be personal, professional or voluntary. We emphasise the importance of feeling equipped to handle challenging behaviour and instances of physical or verbal aggression. Comfort with providing personal care is essential. This position offers a daily rate of £93.48, with working hours from 8:30am to 3:30pm. While the school offers ample parking, it is also accessible by bus and train.
