Job Title: SEND TA, Early Years, Mainstream Primary
I am currently working with a lovely primary school in the Newtown area. They are looking for a SEND TA who can help support their pupils with additional needs in their reception and KS1 year groups. They are currently looking for a staff member who is experience in supporting young autistic children within an Early Years setting including support through picture communication.
Job Details:
• Full Time hours (8.30AM – 3.30PM)
• Ongoing, long-term position
• Early Years and KS1 age group (Will be required to move around the age groups supporting different pupils)
• Start Date September 2025, for the duration of the 2025/26 academic year
What you need to apply:
• Experience within the EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage) - Essential
• Experience supporting autistic individuals - Essential
• Picture exchange communication experience - Highly Desirable
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service required or we’re happy to carry out a new one ahead of you starting the position – Essential
• Minimum of 2 good references – Essential
