Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant (Autism Support)
Position: SEN Teaching Assistant (Autism Support) Location: Bolton Start Date: After February Half term Pay: £83.40 - £95.00 per day (dependent on experience) Are you a dedicated and empathetic individual with a passion for supporting children in education? We are seeking a Teaching Assistant to join our team, providing essential support to students with autism and additional learning needs. This role is key to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment where every child feels valued and empowered to succeed. Key Responsibilities: - Assist the teacher in delivering tailored lessons that accommodate diverse learning needs. - Offer one-to-one and group support to children with autism and other SEN requirements. - Help create an engaging, structured, and supportive classroom atmosphere. - Adapt learning approaches to meet the physical, sensory, and educational needs of pupils. - Work collaboratively with staff to implement individual learning plans. - Monitor and report on student progress, contributing to their educational development. What We’re Looking For: - Experience working with children, ideally within a school setting. - Previous experience supporting students with autism or SEN is highly desirable. - A good understanding of primary education is beneficial. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills. - A genuine enthusiasm for supporting children’s learning and development.
