SEN Learning Support Assistant, Ebbw Vale Axcis Education are working very closely with a specialist provision in Ebbw Vale. We are looking for people, whom ideally have a background in special educational needs and that who are flexible and reliable whom can work Monday to Friday. The start times are 830-330pm and they have positions that are both part and full time. This would be to support young adults aged 3-16 year olds, who have additional learning needs. You will need to have an adult only DBS or a child and adult DBS. The ideal candidate would need to have experience of working with autistic people and/or complex needs. You will need to have an awareness and received training prior to attending this setting but Axcis Education can provide to you online. If you have also worked in the care sector, this opportunity could be highly suited to you too. Personal care can also be involved within this role. Pay rate ranges from £85-£100 per day You will need to have a valid DBS as mentioned above, on the update, suitable references will be required also.
