About the Role As an SEMH Teaching Assistant, you will support primary-aged pupils with a range of additional needs, helping them engage with learning, develop positive relationships, and build confidence within the classroom. The school primarily supports children with: • Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs • Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) • Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) • Learning difficulties Some pupils may display behaviours that challenge, so previous experience with behaviour management and de-escalation strategies is essential. You may also have the opportunity to provide 1:1 support for individual pupils, building strong relationships and delivering tailored interventions to meet their needs.
