Job Title: SEMH Teaching Assistant
Job Advert: SEND Teaching Assistant – Primary School SRP (West Drayton) Start: ASAP | Full-Time | Long-Term with Permanent Opportunity Axcis are working with a welcoming and well-supported Primary School in West Drayton, seeking a resilient and enthusiastic SEND Teaching Assistant to join their Special Resourced Provision (SRP). This is a full-time position available to start ASAP, with the view to continue long term and potentially become permanent for the right candidate. The SRP supports 10 pupils from Year 1 to Year 5, with a focus on SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs), ASD, and challenging behaviour. The ideal candidate will have a strong personality, a calm and consistent approach, and be able to handle occasional swearing or dysregulated behaviour in a professional and compassionate manner. Key Requirements: -Minimum CACHE Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification -Experience supporting children with ASD, SEMH, or challenging behaviour -Confident managing behaviour in a structured but nurturing way -Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to obtain one) -Strong communication skills and the ability to work closely with a supportive team This is a fantastic opportunity to join a caring school environment with a committed staff team.
