Job Title: SEMH Teaching Assistant
Teaching Assistant (Special Needs) Location: Camden, London Contract: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM Role Type: Teaching Assistant (SEMH) SECONDARY SCHOOL Pay: £83+ experience dependent We are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our nurturing and dynamic special needs school in Camden. You will be working with students in Years 7-11 who have Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. Key Responsibilities: Provide tailored support to students with SEMH needs in both classroom and one-on-one settings. Collaborate with teachers and staff to create an inclusive and supportive learning environment. Help manage challenging behaviors and promote positive social interactions. Assist with daily school routines and ensure the well-being of all students. Requirements: Experience: Proven experience working in a similar role with SEMH students. Availability: Must be available full-time, Monday to Friday. A patient, compassionate, and proactive attitude. Strong communication and teamwork skills.
