Job Title: Primary Teacher SEMH I have a fantastic opportunity for a creative, passionate primary teacher for a role in a SEMH school in Swindon (class TBC). The school welcomes pupils with a range of Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs. Class sizes here are small as the school prioritise having a high adult-to-child ratio to ensure the specific needs of each pupil are met. Each day begins with a ‘morning mindfulness’ to ease the transition to school and is followed throughout the day to promote a calm environment where each child feels listened to. The school’s curriculum is designed to meet the emotional and academic needs of each child to promote relevant and sustained development of the ‘whole-child’. The school’s approach is very ‘hands on’, with lots of opportunities for active learning and school visits from invaluable members of the community. Staff work together to ensure that every child can learn in a way that meets their individual needs.
