Job Title: SEMH, SEND Teaching Assistant
A brilliant mainstream secondary academy located in Redditch, are looking for a confident and hard-working teaching assistant (TA) to support students who access their SEND and Inclusion hub in-school offering, to join them full-time on an initial full academic year starting September 2025 to July 2026. • The fixed-term position will cover the hours 8:30-4:00 Monday-Friday in which the TA will support students • The students who are in Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS3 and 4) require support in their learning to help them remain focused, keep calm and process instructions. • Although this is a fixed-term position of 1 year, there is a great opportunity to have an ongoing position as a teaching assistant in the academy. • This is a perfect opportunity for someone who wants to begin a career in education or is already experienced and looking to specialise in SEND. This mainstream secondary academy is located in Redditch, making it easily accessible if you wish to travel via public transport. There is also a secure and spacious carpark for staff who want to drive to work. This academy teaches students between the ages 11-16 and is regarded as a vibrant and inclusive school that strives to promote success for students.
