The successful candidate must possess Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and display a strong educational background, with experience in teaching Religious Education within the UK education system. Responsibilities: - Deliver engaging and comprehensive lessons in Religious Education to students up to GCSE level. - Create an inclusive learning environment that is sensitive to students' diverse backgrounds and learning styles. - Prepare, plan, and deliver lessons that meet the national curriculum standards. - Assess, record, and report on the development, progress, and attainment of pupils. - Effective management of pupil behavior to ensure a good and safe learning environment. - Provide guidance and advice to students on educational and social matters. - Contribute to the development of the school curriculum. - Participate in departmental meetings, parents' evenings, and whole school training events. - Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching practices and share resources. - Carry out additional related responsibilities as outlined by the school's leadership. Qualifications and Skills: - Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential. - Strong subject knowledge and experience teaching Religious Education up to GCSE level. - Experience in teaching within the UK education system. - Possess a valid DBS on the update service. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work independently as well as part of a cohesive team. - A passion for teaching and commitment to educating the whole child. - Strong organizational and time-management skills.
