This experience is ideally suited for individuals seeking to pursue careers in Educational Psychology, Clinical Psychology, Speech and Language Therapy, or related fields. Available Roles: For Psychology Students: • Casual, part-time roles available (1 to 5 days per week) to fit alongside academic timetables • Hands-on experience that complements university coursework and enhances academic learning • Opportunities to work with a broad range of SEN profiles, including Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), ADHD, and communication difficulties For Psychology Graduates: • Full-time, paid positions available as part of your placement year or upon graduation • A valuable opportunity to gain in-depth experience in a supportive and professional educational environment Role Responsibilities: • Supporting the learning and development of children and young people with SEN, either in classrooms, small groups, or on a one-to-one basis • Assisting teaching staff in delivering tailored educational and behavioural support • Helping pupils achieve their educational and personal development goals Requirements: • Current Psychology students (undergraduate or postgraduate) or recent Psychology graduates • A genuine interest in child development, education, and inclusive practices • Strong communication skills, reliability, and a proactive approach Further information: • September 2025 start • Roles are based in a range of educational settings across Bournemouth and the surrounding area • Hours 8.30am – 4pm • Pay range £90 - £98 per day This is a unique opportunity to gain relevant, practical experience that will support your academic and professional development while making a meaningful contribution to the lives of young learners.
