About the Role:
Are you passionate about supporting young people in their educational journey? We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our vibrant secondary department in Southwark. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a positive impact on the learning and development of Year 9 students.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist teachers in delivering engaging lessons and supporting classroom activities.
• Provide one-on-one and small group support to students who may need extra help.
• Help manage classroom behavior and create a positive learning environment.
• Support students with their individual learning needs and track their progress.
• Foster a supportive and inclusive atmosphere to encourage student participation and achievement.
Requirements:
• Previous experience working with young people, ideally in a school setting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and students.
• A proactive and positive attitude towards supporting students' educational needs.
• Relevant qualifications or experience in education are desirable but not essential.
